Whether you decide to commit to a daily ritual, or need a quick pick-me-up throughout your day or night, these are five simple ways to press ‘reset’ on your energy that are sure to shift your outcomes for the better. Don’t be shocked at this simple list. Remember, the most simplest of things is where true beauty lies. There is no need to over think or complicate…just, be.
This is one of my favourite ways to reset my energy. You can do this when you’re physically in the shower (which is the best!) or do it wherever you are, close your eyes, breath and imagine/visualise this working for you.
BEGIN…
Take a deep breath, all the way down to your belly, hold, and release.
Step into your shower, or visualise yourself in the shower (or a under a waterfall, perhaps?).
Visualise and feel the water washing away your stress and anxiety. Whatever is weighing on your mind, body and soul is now being cleansed and washed away.
Concentrate on the feel of the water upon your skin.
Envision the power of the water washing away your negative thoughts.
Feel sadness, regret, anger, depression, overwhelm, confusion – whatever is clouding you – wash right off you.
Let it all go down the drain was the water flows through you, over you and off you.
Continue to do your breathing.
Deep breath in. Hold. Release.
Deep breath in. Hold. Release.
Deep breath in. Hold. Release.
As the water continues to wash over you, now imagine a beautiful multifaceted light beam through the water – like the rainbows you see in the water when the sunlight bounces off it – that light is infused in the water washing over you replenishing you.
It is filled with comfort, with reassurance, with joy, with hope and with unconditional love.
It reminds you that you are exactly where you need to be and you have exactly what you need in this moment.
Take a deep breath in. Hold. Release.
