I'm here for you, to help you feel seen, confident and to press reset on any areas of your life that might need it. Why me? Because I had to press 'reset' on me, too. We all go through seasons of life that are tickled with self rediscovery; that's life. But sometimes, you just don't know where to start, right? Well, that's where I come in.
80's & 90's for sure! With a bit of '00 R&B + EDM for good measure.
I'm a sucker for a pastel palette.
Water (boring, i know. But, I also wouldn't say no to a Tommy's Margarita
Here for the cheese boards, and the cupcakes. Mexican is always a good idea.
I do have a newly found obsession with matcha. I also love the ocean, fresh flowers and the great outdoors. I enjoy travel and fresh bread equally. I care deeply about skin education, well being and vitality. Balance and simplicity is key for me, and how I now choose to approach almost all areas of life. Oh, and did I mention that 'Friends' is my all time favourite - I'm prettttty sure I could quote almost every episode; how cool am I? Ha!
I adore beauty, interior design and property as much as I do a peaty whiskey (which is a lot). I love the feeling of sunshine of my skin, laughing til my tummy hurts and having cuddles with my loves.
I've 'reset' myself SO many times, through all seasons of life and you can read more about those moments on my blog (here), and all of those experiences have brought me to a place in my life where I can finally, and confidently, live life being purely me.
I'm a qualified teacher and practitioner for meditation, pilates, EFT (tapping) and worked in the luxury beauty and wellness industries as an educator and writer with major global brands for over 17 years. This is totally my realm of genius, and I love sharing my professional knowledge.
In my personal life, as much as it sounds cringe to say - but hey, we're friends chatting here, so no judgement, right? - I've kinda done good. My husband and I have been together for 16 years, we own multiple properties (7 before I was 30!), we live in a beautiful part of the world with our incredibly lovely daughters, Spencer (2.5 years) and sweet baby Hadley (4 months).
While it might all sound lovely, these things didn't just happen. Hard work and sacrifice were absolutely the key components to these results, as well as tears shed over our desire to starting a family (more on that in the motherhood part of the blog and podcast), yet we also were able to chase dreams, travel the world, indulge in many fun times, and enjoy our lives while building our vision of what the 'happily ever after' life feels like to us.
All of these life lessons and experiences have uncovered SO much as to who I am and what I am here to do. One of the fundamental parts of this uncovering of myself and stepping into life as a confident me, was learning to step back - zoom out, if you will - and change my perspective on things. To take a breath and keep it simple.
My professional career started and spent most of its time in the beauty industry. I worked my way up from the youngest counter manager Chanel had hired, later becoming State Manager with them and then progressed into other realms of the beauty and wellness industries.
I would spend so much time with them talking about their identity dreams; the common answer was how they wished to be perceived by others, and themselves. That's when I knew that I wanted to show them that:
a) they should prioritise how they feel, not what others think about them.
b) that while a good face serum or lipstick might brighten the complexion, it's only a quick fix.
c) they're worthy of feeling SO much more confident just being themselves first, and that they should use these other elements as complimentary aspects to self, not put all their desires into them.
